Guarantee

Salvatore Plata’s jewellery has a two year guarantee from the date of purchase that covers any possible defects that may arise from manufacture, but under no circumstances those caused by customer misuse. To enforce this guarantee you must submit a proof of purchase (purchase receipt, gift ticket or invoice)

Quality

All SALVATORE PLATA jewellery is made from 18k (1 micron) gold-plated 925 sterling silver. Jewels made with 100% natural stones and in some of the cases, synthetic stones and high quality crystals. Each Salvatore Plata piece has a certificate of responsibility registered at the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office with the number 2,095,446(8), and a certificate of guarantee from the official laboratory of precious metals at the Metalworking Technology Institute (AIDIMME, in its Spanish acronym), which guarantees that our pieces are 925 silver and contain no harmful metals or carcinogens.

Care of our jewellery

Salvatore Plata jewellery should be kept in its original box or in an opaque bag and in a dry environment.Metals and resins alike may be affected by overexposure to heat, moisture or other harmful external elements. Contact with perfume, lacquer, perspiration, detergents or other corrosive substances may damage our jewellery and affect its shape and colour. Occasional cleaning with a soft cloth prolongs the shine of our jewellery. Particular care must be taken with pieces containing stones, as they may get damaged or fall off if knocked against a surface or dropped. Silver is not a particularly hard metal, so do not force clasps, especially on earrings, as they may snap or lose their shape.
